MISSION          Daymark® Recovery Services, Inc. is a mission driven, comprehensive community provider of culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse services. The Daymark® goal is for skilled medical and behavioral healthcare professionals to support citizens of all ages and their families with the greatest opportunity for recovery, independence and the highest quality of life. We are committed to using the most current best practices and effective, research-based treatment programs to assist all citizens working toward achieving optimum health and recovery.

BEST PRACTICES       Dramatic changes have been taking place in behavioral healthcare in recent years. Progress has been made on the state and national levels to define and clearly outline best practice models of delivering mental health and substance abuse treatments to adults, youth and families (including those with developmental disabilities). These broad clinical practice guidelines exist for numerous behavioral healthcare issues. When followed, they result in the highest quality of care, a more comprehensive array of services delivered, clinically appropriate care consistent with the needs of the consumer, and most importantly improved clinical outcomes or positive results. The medical and professional staff at Daymark® Recovery Services, Inc. have undergone extensive training in these best practice guidelines for numerous types of mental health and substance abuse issues.  

There has been much research and progress in further defining specific treatment strategies that have been proven effective for particular disorders and/or problems for specific target populations. These research-based or evidence-based treatment programs, when implemented by trained staff, also increase the likelihood of positive outcomes for consumers by ensuring they receive the most current and effective treatments for their particular issues. Daymark® has trained staff on numerous evidence-based treatments and has incorporated them into the treatment programs offered to youth, adults and families (including those with developmental disabilities).
